Overview
The Gigabyte B850 EAGLE WIFI6E is a full-size ATX board for AMD’s AM5 platform — Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series, including the 9600X and 9800X3D we stock. It is the board in our Budget Gaming System and the one we recommend for most new AMD builds.
You get DDR5 with EXPO memory profiles, a PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot for the fastest SSDs plus two more Gen4 slots, Intel Wi-Fi 6E with Bluetooth 5.3, and a solid power design with large VRM heatsinks for the 9800X3D. AM5 is AMD’s long-term socket, so there is an upgrade path for years.
