Overview
The ASUS PRIME B550M-A WiFi II is the sensible board for an AM4 build or upgrade. It takes Ryzen 3000, 4000G and 5000 series processors, gives you PCIe 4.0 for the graphics card and the main M.2 slot, and has Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth built in so you do not need a separate card.
It is the board we reach for when a customer wants to put a Ryzen 5 5600 or 5700 into a compact case on a budget, or breathe new life into an older AM4 system. Plenty of rear video outputs (HDMI, DVI, VGA) make it a good fit for office PCs running a Ryzen APU with integrated graphics.
